Default The best way to reset the ECU on MY99

I was wondering which is the best way to reset the ECU, by disconnecting the battery for an hour, or by connecting the black & green connectors under the steering wheel as it says on the JGM website?

JollyGreenMonster.co.uk

Or do both ways work fine?

Connectors is quicker, battery reset has to be disconnected for half a day or something from memory. When you disconnect battery pump brake pedal a few times to get rid of any stored charge in car.

Yeah your in the right place Shouldn't need to remove the plastic they can usually be accessed easily by looking up and under, they may be taped away if they hhave not been used before
