Engine management light on when stopped
Hi all, new here and first post.
Recently bought a V reg Turbo 2000. The engine management light is coming on when I come to a stop/moving slowly in traffic, at a roundabout or traffic lights for example. It doesn't flash, simply shows up on the dash and when I pull off again it goes off after about 30 seconds and doesn't show back up unless I stop again or get caught up in traffic.
Had a look via the search function and read through some of the problems. The cars booked in to get scanned on Tuesday, but just wanted to know if anyone had experienced this before and could shine some light on the problem before I get it scanned.
So over to you guys, anyone had the engine management light show up when the cars stopped then go back off when moving again?
Cheers, Simon.

Hi & welcome to scoobynet.
You could save yourself some time and money by reading the fault codes from the ECU yourself if you like.
Have a look here: Scoobypedia | Trusted knowledge for everything Subaru | Knowledge / Reading ECU Fault Codes & post the code/codes stored.
It may well be that you could fix it yourself
