Standard Fuel Pressure on a MY97 T2000
I`ve just had new fuel rails, parallel setup, catch tank and AFPR fitted but noticed yesterday that the AFPR gauge was reading around 54PSI.
From what I`ve read, this seems far too high. Please can someone confirm what the standard fuel pressure is for my car. I`ve read that it should be 3bar at idle with the vacume pipe disconnected ??
Many thanks.

Standard fuel pressure is 2.8 - 3.2 bar (40.61 - 46.41 psi). Set your adjustable FPR to 3bar (43.51 psi) at idle and it should rise to about 3.5-3.6bar (50.76-52.21psi) when required. That should ensure plenty of fuelling but then at idle it may run a fraction richer in which case you would normally need to at least get your ECU's MAF scaling recalibrated so it runs perfect.
Change your induction system or up fuel pressure and MAF rescaling just makes sure your AFR's stay in prefect trim. There's no remap available just yet for your ECU so although the most that will happen is you run a little bit richer it shouldn't affect general running.
