Will a TMIC from a UK300 fit my MY99 also will this be a good upgrade

 

The intercooler on the UK300's is exactly the same as any other MY01-MY05 WRX IC, there's nothing special about it, and this type is a worthwhile upgrade from the late classic one, albeit not as good as the newage STi IC.

As for whether it'll fit, did you try hitting the Search button before posting? Short answer is that it will, with similar mods as would be necessary for a newage STi IC.

 

i bought 1 mate an fitted ok. it is bigger than standard 1 an capable to prob hold more power. only thing is i had to remove left bracket an adjust right bracket to hold it. everything else was fine

 

Was it a classic you fitted it to also what other mods did you do

 

on the whole car or just to the tmic to fit. yea was a my00 the facelift. fitted pretty well. on the whole car i put on a vf23, kakumei headers an uppipe, full decat, uk300tmic an silicone pipe, walbro fuel pump, k an n induction fit, higher grade spark plugs an a remap. feels great. just want to improve bushes etc
