Default idle control valve

Hi,need to fit a replacement idle control valve to my 95 wrx can this part just be fitted or do you need to set it up in someway i know l need to reset the ecu after fitting it but not sure if anything else needs to be done, there is some kind of adjustment on the top is this factory set.

Thanks

think you can just change them its the ecu that knows when to open and close it due to what it needs to do at the given time it needs to open and close it will sort it out
its the throtle position sensor that needs to be set to a percentage
