You have no coolant at all and want to carry on driving on driving it.

I hope I have the wrong end of the stick

think he means there is just water in the system because hes topped water up that much due to fault finding and no antifreeze/coolent mix...and it dose no harm (untill winter time) cos ive run mine for 8 month since radiator change but will be making sure il have some mix in there come winter time for sure

I think hes saying it only has water in it and no anti-freeze?

Its not ideal to run on pure water the anti-freeze mix as well as stopping freezing also has some anti corrosion stuff in it and also raises the boiling point of the water. Ive read you other thread on your leak. the way to find it is to pressurise the system with a coolant system pressuriser> the the water will squirt out where the leak is

Very very short term its probably not going to do any harm, now the very very short term bit means top it up and get it to a garage, thats how short term.
Coolant does more than just flow around your engine, yes its a 50/50 mix in most cases but it also stops all that lovely chlorine/hard water build up that you would get with just normal water, and it stops your engine from freezing in winter too increases the boiling point of the liquid also.
And on a plus point (or minus if you just use water) you can see where it leaks out, with water it will just evaporate.
