hi can all u helpfull peps point me in the right direction to get a new rad and fitted, im in harwich essex or is it a thing i can do me self, its for a impreza wrx import 1996 and is there any speaical coolants that have to be put in it

its an easy fix to replace,undo the two rad top supports disconect the top and bottom rad hose and overflow pipe from header tank disconect the fans and lift out.unbolt the fan surround put it on new rad and repeat steps backwords.will need some antifreeze and water mixed top up water and job done.hope this helps really not that bad to do.

did you check the drain plug is tightened properly,bottom left corner as you look into engine ? as you said leaking from bottom corner

cheers lads looked at rad closer and its got a pin size hole in it about halfway up on right hand side so defo in need of new one ive sin replacements on ebay for 49.99 of have any of u lads got a good supler in the essex area its for 1996 wrx import

ive bin told the import aircon modal is different from the normal ones if so anyone got any ideas to get one from at a half desent price? not after a super light one just the standad rad for me car plz help lads or lasers

The main rads are the same on both cars. Whoever it was that told you that must have been talking about the aircon cooler-rad, which is obviously a completely different part. If you look close at the rad in your ebay item, you can even see the mount points for the extra fan, that you only get on aircon cars.
