Well its an expensive job, by the time you have the maximum power out of your engine, your:-
1. pushing reliability
2. pushing reliability
3. pushing your bank manager for a bigger loan.

You will be looking at uprated injectors, bigger turbo, new gearbox (as the one you have wont last very long with 300lbs+ of torque), new clutch, bigger brake kit etc etc etc.
Putting it bluntly, your best off buying a newage STI as the insurance will also increase with the mods

Tony

i already had it mapped an tuned with alot of bits which has pushed by bank balance to the pennies an have 300bhp an around that in torque. for reliability issues im prob best just leaving as it is as it feels smooth now. worst thing is the exhaust resination. sounds like its blowing massively. i wish i could afford an sti

mines at 340/315, still room for more with bigger injectors and uprated headers. but i have got alot of supporting mods to keep it running sweeyt, also blew up my gearbox and now got a stright cut ppg box at the princley sum of about £3500 to put it into context

fmic for def, tmic not worth bother with once you replace the turbo.

you'll notice a big difference with those mods, but i'd invest in a deent set of gauges and a nocklink cos your gonna be pushing the standard engine pretty hard
