Default Engine Light & Squeaking

Hello all Scooby Owners. I'm new here... & need of some help please.

I would like some advice on my Impreza Turbo , Wagon 98 uk

It started yesterday when I reversed, some squeaking coming from under the bonnet. I had a quick glance couldnt see anything.

Then tonight when stopped at trafic light the "Check Engine light" came on. then went out. also the squeeling kept on going all the way home, I looked under the bonnet couldnt see anything wrong.

Any Idea's would be a great help as I know i'm going to have to take it to the Scooby dealers to get the error code.

Many Thanks

Bully

Squealing would most probably be a belt.
You can manually read the error codes Scoobypedia | Trusted knowledge for everything Subaru | Knowledge / Reading ECU Fault Codes
