Default Td05 turbo question

I got a Tdo5 turbo on my early wrx but how do you no if its a 16g or 18g uhit. Thanks in advance pete.

The 18G is an aftermarket modified Turbo and was never sold as an OEM / Subaru unit.

AFAIK the 18G originated from Deadbolt Turbo's in the USA and the first came into the country via Andy Forrest.

Not sure about that as the 18G and 20G are not an OEM item from Mitsubishi who manufacture the TD series for the Impreza....
