What's it mean when oil pressure is high. Used to be around 80-90 PSI now it's on 110 PSI, all at norm temps. Used to drop to 40 PSI on idel now it don't, any ideas or is this fine

So what's hot idle pressure now?
Dos the gauge show a pressure when the ignition is turned on but engine isn't started?

Hot idle is about 80, when iginitio. Is on but not engine it's 0 then when started goes to 40 after a few seconds back to 80 the when all warmed up 110, could this be a sign of an oil change is needed, cheers for quick reply and help so far.

Oil pressure will drop when oil degrades not rise, so i dont suspect its your oil. Pressure can increase with tight tolerences in which case i would expect you to see slightly higher temps as the oil works harder, a restriction on the flow will also increase pressure, or a faulty sender unit could be at fault.
