Default overheating!!!

hey guys
have 05 impreza sti that overheats while stationery
good circulation on rad pipes but would appear that electric fan not coming on!!!
any ideas???

have you checked the wires connected to the radiator, i'd also go about get your water temp sensors checked etc

IF THE WATER IS CIRCULATING AN THE FAN ISNT COMING ON THEN THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF IS THE WATER TEM SENSOR MATE GET THAT CHECKED.

Do you have air con? If so turn it on wait a min your fan should kick in this will prove the fan is ok, if not check heaters are they blowing hot? Coolant level? After that it will get a bit involved sounds like a fan issue possibly
