engine management light
Hi all, got a 2004 blobeye and these are the mods: VF35 TURBO, Full decat downpipe and up pipe, blitz nur spec r, pink injectors, uprated walbro fuel pump, ecutek remap now running 335BHP, flat panel filter, STI TMIC. Car has been fine for last four months and on the way to ace cafe the other day the engine management light came on!! got the faul read and it said somethong like "exhaust tempreture sensor to B+ fuel/air". Is this the lambda sensor? ha sit broken? should i panic now???

the exact error code would help
the wrx uppipe has an exhaust temperature sensor in it... as you have changed the upipe I guess the sensor is not plugged in anymore and probably still in the old uppipe..?
The error code for the exhaust gas temp sensor is a fairly long and drawn out checking process and disconnected it usually takes a week to come on but depends on what type of driving you do.. it is possible this is all it is

Thanks mate, seems a bit wierd that it has been fine for 4months and know has come on!! They used a bosch kts200 to find the error and it said something about exhaust gas tempreature..... i think that the lambda may have broken??
