Now the bottom pulley's fixed onto the next problem, on the list, lol....

sometimes when I start the car it kicks in straight away, but probably 75% of the time it takes several seconds to kick the engine up. I don't think its the battery, it always manages to start but takes 5 - 10 seconds and tries a few times and then it's ok. There's a light smell of fuel sometimes.

Could it just be plugs, leads need changing or would this be something else like fuel pump etc?

Basically I'm after advice on what to check first etc prefarably in order of lowest cost
