i dont think my bootlid is sealing enough onto the rubber seal and exhaust gases/smell is coming in thru it into the cabin out the backbox.

so,what/how can i pull the bootlid onto the seal more, i had to replace the bootlid and as with everything that wasnt original,i dont think this bootlid seals properly when fitted

The bit that the cathc cathes on on the slam panel is adjustable...... two bolts and move it slightly, and job done....

hi,found the bit you were on about,moved it down all the way and it seems to seal better,needs more of a push to shut the bootlid now so fingers crossed

I did the same to mine recently so it closes tighter - seems to have made a big difference as i was getting some fumes in the cabin as well, but that seems to have stopped now
