Default Exhaust heat wrap

hi, was just wondering how much heat wrap is required in order to fully wrap a classic decat down pipe, i know you have to overlap it so it works properly but not sure how much is required? has anyone wrapped their down pipe lately?
cheers

I have just recently wrapped my downpipe for my newage and bought 3inch x 5mtr roll of heat wrap not enough!!

Bought more from flee bay 2inch x 100ft for £25 delivered surely thats enough to do it 2 or 3 times now

Before putting the heat wrap on remember and wet it first so that when it drys it tightens up around the downpipe Hope this helps

50' x 2" is about par for the course for a well wrapped downpipe.
Don't forget the snapstraps to secure it.
