MY03 Wagon - poor handling?
Recently bought an 03 Wagon, took her out today for the first time in the rain, went round a roundabout and found her very light on the back which gave the feeling of "aqua-plaining"
The car has 18's currently all with good tred, its certificated as having PPP - should that not make it better handling?
Any advice?

Tim@ Scooby Parts is one of the cheapest suppliers for Whiteline. Ask for a deal and he will normally oblige
Those springs mate, I don't think will fit as they are from an inverted strut type and yours aren't inverted. Would be worth asking in technical but I couldn't tell you categorically that they would work. IIRC wrx Prodrive springs are only £195 ? Teins are definitely cheaper again

Wagon rear springs are a bit longer than saloons so make sure you get the right ones if you do the springs. Although you can do better the original fitments weren't that bad so I would look at those tyres.

Tyres are the first thing to be changing. The difference will be like day and night if you replace the rear cheapies with decent ones. Much better to have all the tyres the same, so maybe wait till the Avons at the front wear out, then replace the lot with Goodyear Eagle F1s or similar.
I would personally buy a new set right away instead of buying ARBs etc as I couldn't stand having rubbish tyres in the wet.

Don't get a rear arb if you have crap tyres on the rear - it works the outside rear tyre even harder and if its rubbish will only make it worse.
As above check the tyre pressures not sure what people do for wagons but generally speaking on saloons people use a couple of psi less in the rears. Wagons weight at the rear may reduce the difference.

Tyres..! Has to be the first priority as already pointed out..
Running different tyres f-r is not a good idea on these cars..! You can take several different brands of tyre (even same brand different model) say 225/40 18's and they will all vary in, not only their performance but also their actual size. Not good for the diffs and not very safe if you end up with smaller diameter tyres on the rear IMHO, as the rears are likely to light up first if you over do it..!
But 4 decent tyres and rotate them regularly so the wear rate is similar (fronts will generally wear faster), then replace 4 at a time..
Oh and yes, you only want 'stiff' suspension when you have good tyre grip, otherwise softer is better..
