prodrive springs advice please.
Hi guys.
Firstly my car spec
Subaru impreza wrx sti type u.k 2005 ( one of the last ones as it has 114.3pcd ).
My question is this i have tein springs with standard suspention but i feel they are a bit to hard but i like the lowering it has made the car look better but i was just wondering has any advice on what to do to have a bit more comfy settled ride ?
i.e change the spring to something else like prodrive springs any help guys would be good.

Could be an expensive exercise just to find there is no improvement!
I've no experience of Tein springs but do have Prodrive items on my 03 STi and while they improved the ride over the horribly bouncy standard springs, they are quite stiff. In hindsight, I would use Eibach if just replacing the springs alone. The front internal bump stops had to be replaced when installing the Prodrive kit - may be the same with other makes?

i dont like the original bouncy springs myself but the tein are rock sold tbh so i think that the prodrive route is sounding good if they are only a little harder than the originals but less bouncy.
Are there different springs for the 114.3 pcd towards the 100.00pcd or will they fit each other ?
there are some for sale off a 2003 blobeye would they fit mine being a late 2005 with 114.3 pcd or not ?
Thanks for all the help guys !!!

How much are the Prodrive springs you don't want to spend out to much just to find its not to your taste.
What about going all out for the BC coilovers? I know it's going to cost a lot more but then you cant go wrong as you can adjust to your hearts content

PDC makes no difference, MY05+ with bump stops is what you want.
The part number is SACC2655 which is for 05-07MY STi
SACC2655 - Prodrive Parts - Cheam Motors
FWIW the springs are much improved on the standard springs, but you still suffer the STi overall characteristic of a bumpy ride at low speed.
