VTA bov's are not ideal for scooby's, had the same problem with my V2 STI, returned it back to standard and performance was restored, I think I'm right in saying that the ecu reads the returning gases to enable it to run the engine. Using a VTA bov takes this reading away and can cause running and possible engine damage!!

Im looking to buy a BOV shortly, what kind do you guys recommend? To be honest i only really want it for the noise but obviously i dont want my car to suffer for it, 2006 Impreza WRX by the way. Thanks in advance for any input.
