Hi, thinking of buying scooby wrx 2001 at weekend , anyway emmissions light is on dash, is this anything to worry about?? could this mean any engine probs?? please someone help?? thanks bex xxx

if its the CEL light then i would get it looked at before you buy it, it could have an engine problem,maybe a sensor..or if its got a decat exhaust then that could be why its on...best to get it looked at before you buy it

if it is caused by lack of cat then it needs a remap so budget between £300-£650 to get it running right, take this into account when buying, I would steer clear though as you don't know if it is anything else and if any damage has been done running it like this. Defo get it checked out before parting with your hard earned.
