Default Wind noise

Hi have had my subaru wrx 04 for about a month now, And have noticed that at speeds over 110 (not on public roads) there is a terrible wind noise, low pitch droaning, quite loud and intrusive. Has anyone else had similar experiance. Please advise as its bloody annoying.

Try opening then closing the windows, with the door closed, works on mine.

I have the same on my 2006 from the drivers door window - never fixed during warranty. I have had the door played with by dealer to no effect.

pressing the inside of the seal works but at three figure speeds ain't ideal.

A new top door seal is expensive so I might pad the seal out a bit to improve the seal.

Speed anywhere from 110+ - and it is effected by cross wind - once it starts you can't "drive through it"

Anyone else had similar?

Thanks for the advise, did pop the window down and up and seemed to cure it.... until i got out.. then same again next time. would anyone recommend the rain shields that you can get to go around the top edge of all 4 doors, and would this stop the noise?

It's due to the doors being frameless, the seals do not compress as tightly when you shut the door on them, they compress better if you slide the window up to them.
