ej20 interference?

Default ej20 interference?

i have an ej20e engine in my 99 impreza gl. i dont think the cambelt has had a change up to 83k miles but it still has the writing on the belt?? does anyone no if this engine is a non interference engine?? thanks

Afraid not, Subaru engines are not "safe" if the belt breaks... I'd change the belt if your not sure of it's age.
