Fitting a decat downpipe tomorrow - a question
Fitting a decat downpipe and centre tomorrow and bought some heatwrap, 50mm x 5m and it only covers half the downpipe. Do I need to cover the whole thing?
I have half a roll of a different fibreglass type that I was given so could continue with that.

Howhave you done the overlap? I think it should be about 3/4 visible so with 50mm wide tape you are looking at roughly 35 to 40mm visible.

It's about 3/4 visible, started off with 1/2 and didn't even reach the bend so took it off and started again. The only way I could get near to wrapping the whole thing would be to have no overlap.
