Nur Spec exhaust: less or more power with the bung in?
I've had my Nur Spec fitted for a while now, but since the downpipe went on, the noise from the back of the car has become unacceptably loud.
Tonight, I put the steel 'bung' in the end of the exhaust and went for a drive. The engine felt totally different...I seemed to need more revs off the line, yet the turbo appeared to spin up slightly earlier in the rev range.
How much power will I lose or gain from leaving the bung in the back? I've got my remap due on Thursday so it's quite critical...but at least I can hear the stereo in the car now!

Only way to find out for sure is to get it on a dyno and run it with and without the cap. I have a strong feeling that your losing power with the cap installed; It's a restriction in the exhaust which = less power.
