Default What CAIK trumpet intake size would you suggest?

Guys,

I'm adding a trumpet intake for my Prodrive bumper. I brought a trumpet a little while ago (JAPFEST 09 on a shop stand) and is a 70mm wide version.

Trouble is will this be way to big? I think maybe a 60mm or 65mm will maybe be best but not sure?

Another question that crosses my mind would be the added air flow going direct onto the filter itself. Would you suggest getting my mapper (JGM) to have a look once this is added?

Steve

If you want the most out of it it's always advisable to get it mapped. There are also possibilities of it running slightly lean when not remapping after induction changes
