Idle Control Valve 02 WRX
About 6 weeks ago i had some fault codes come up on my PSI3 data monitor,along with the engine management light on the dash.
The fault code pointed out the ICV was defective.
Sure enough,the thing was seized up.
I ordered a spare from Jap Perf Parts,cleaned it up fitted it lovely....then about 2 weeks ago the same fault codes and EML light come on again,so swapped over the valves,all was well...till today.Same situation same codes ICV to blame again...the codes are :
1494- EGR solenoid valve signal no.2 low input
1507- ICV Malfunction- failsafe
1512- ISC Solenoid valve signal no.2 low input
Question is....could there be an underlying cause for it to go **** up 3 times in a couple of months?
