hey all, i just fitted a hks ssqv vta dv to my version 3 sti, the dv is working fine, but when i pull up to juntions the revs drop very low and the engine cuts out, i know the new dv has somthing to do with it, and after when i came back home, the cars idleing was raising and lowering???

Actually its not.
The SQV is leaking air into/out of the inlet manifold, have to say thats the worst mod you could have done, on the back end of it is an adjusting screw, slacken the lock nut and screw fully in, retighten the lock nut, that should help. then be prepared for jerkiness as you come off the throttle and strong hiccups when coming back on the throttle after a fast full load gear shift. If that happens it will be the SQV causing it.

It's the dumpvalve that's causing your problems. If you can't adjust it, the best thing you can do is get rid and return to the standard item.
For what it's worth the mass airflow sensor is located in the tube immediately after the airbox - but as Bob says this is not causing the issues you're experiencing - the new DV is.
