does anyone know where the vehicle speed sensor is on a 1997 type r. the engine light has come on. i checked the code and it was either the idle control valve or the vehicle speed sensor. my car nearly cuts and when i put my foot down between 4000 and 5000 revs my car looses power. any ideas

did you manage to sort out the fault with your type r as I have a similar fault?? Did your speedo needle fluctuate at all?
