Default Clutch biting point

Hi, Iv just had a new clutch fitted to my Impreza '04, it needed replacing due to it starting to slip and stiff to change gear. The bearing had given up the ghost i found out. When I got the car back i took it out for a test run everything now seems ok, light clutch pedal, easy to change gear. My only real concern is that althought it had a complete new clutch fitted, the biting point it still high (ish). Iv never experinced this before went iv changed clutches my self (im ex trade), they always had low biting points. I was just curios to know whether it was noraml with them. I know it has no adjustment due it being hydralic operating, the clutch slave cylinder is ok so its not loosing pressure as it were when changing gear.

Any one got any ideas?????????
