Default Overboosting in 5th - symptons
Looking at an Impreza today that is over boosting in 5th for some reason.

Apparently it has a decat on it, but I've had one before on my STI and it used to be happy at 1bar of boost. Or is just the luck of the drawer whether you'll get over boost or not from a Decat?


What could the other possible reasons be?

Mine does 1.5 bar in all gears except 5th which sees 1.8. It was mapped this way as 5th can take the torque - so I was told.

Over boost has been sorted, the boost solenoid and adjoining hoses had been plumbed in wrong.
