Lightbulb 1/4 Mile Register - By turbo

How about a register of the fastest 1/4mile times - sorted by turbo.

It may help choose your next turbo...

Feel free to copy paste (just going off the top of my head here):

Please include ALL the following info and keep the same format:
Turbo/Engine CC/Heads/MY/Weight loss/Fuel/Tyres/BHP/Torque/RR/Drag Venue/etc. Also state if drag run was backed up (within 1% of best time, on the same day).

How about new-age / classic as well?

Seems a bit unfair to compare a lard **** to a stick insect, even if they're running the same turbo

It's a good idea, but unless you include a lot more info, it could be very misleading for people.

I'm sure there will be other suggestions too, but,

Car type/weight,
tires,
fuel,
track (tarmac/concrete, prep'd/unprep'ed)

And how about a copy of the run ticket to qualify the run ?

I agree, will add a couple of the bits to the list. I don't think we need the thread clogged up with copies of dyno runs or tickets though. If anything is in dispute then it can be taken elsewhere. I assume everyone is decent and straight up though.

Car type is already there, as is the fuel type. Will add track too as I know some mobile setups aren't as accurate with timings.

You have to draw the line somewhere though to keep it simple. Tuners can run their cars far closer to the edge (in terms of mapping) than normal people, but I'm sure people can figure that one out from who is doing the runs

Let's not turn this into turbo wars though.

Guys, can you keep the format to:

"Please include ALL the following info:

Bob,

What exactly do you mean by "backed up" ?

Do you mean two similar runs on the same day, a copy of a run ticket, or, "yes, because my mate timed it on his watch" ?

Backed up drag run on the same day. I forget what 0.??s it has to be within of the fastest run. Will have a look at the official guidelines when I have a minute.

Get some results up

Well, if that's what you're asking for, you really need pic's of the slips. Which will be hard for some people to produce now, because they won't have kept them, and harder for others, because they won't have had them in the first place

What's within 1%? IE how much time?

My best at SSO last year was 12.4, next best was 12.5.

Just copying and pasting the results from this thread https://www.scoobynet.com/scooby-spr...ut-2008-a.html

As you can see, I'm consistantly inconsistant.

Question is; Is my best time backed up or not?

The sad ones amongst us have every ticket from every run we have ever done Mark, lmao.
My last 2 runs from Shakey last time out were, 11.111 and 11.179, is that deemed close enough to be a backed up run ?
