Default Can't find my knock sensor plug!!

Where's it gone? After putting the engine back in, it was one of the last things to connect and I just can't find it. Can someone tell me which part of the loom it spurs off??

Cheers

PS the car is starting, runs for a few secs then cuts everytime. Could the lack of sensor cause this?

Have a look for a small single (white?) connector below the Idle Speed control valve - normally hard to see with the TMIC on.

Have you got the fuel feed and return pipes on the right way round ??

cheers, will look again. fmic so no access probs.

think I've narrowed the idling to strange issue with coolant temp sensor. when it idles, the temp gauge reads max, but at 2k+ it drops to correct reading. very odd...
