Default Sealing the Boot Leak!

Just changed my WRX for STI type 300. Love the car, but have a new things to sort out, one being the boot is leaking. Climbed into it tonight and got a neighbour to hose it down. Got water coming in on both sides but not the top, saw it dripping on this seam(see pic). What can you suggest to seal this? also there is a pretty big gab between the lights and body, can i silicon this up with clear mastic??

STI type 300
Anyway, clean the area with a damp cloth, keep it clear, if your getting water into the rear light clusters then its the lights seals that have gone, new lights there im afraid

Type UK I ment, oups... it was rather late. hah
the water is flowing into that gap and not into the light unit itself thankgod. Going to attack it with silicon and carafax when the rain stops so i can dry it out!
