Hi ive got a td05 16g to go on my newage wrx but before fittin it would like to have it rebuilt, does anyone know what sort of money il be lookin at and where to get it rebuilt?

Also what else needs to be fittin along wiv the turbo im going to fit a welbro an get it remapped,wil my stardard injuctors (440's) an top mount cope?

And if anyone wiv a td05 16g on a newage could give me an idea of figures would be a great help!

If will need to be converted to front entry if not already done. Andy.F can rebuild and convert for you.

I run 440s with a FPR and it makes 340/340 @1.5bar with tubular headers.

STi8 TMIC is recommended.

Gearbox may be on borrowed time if the 16g is used to it's potential though

 

550cc sti pinks would be best to go for on a newage wrx, and a minimum of a prodrive intercooler hose, decat uppipe and I would go sportcat downpipe, An sti 8 topmount would also be of benefit but you also need the scoop and undertray to get the full benefit from it.

 

sorry forgot to say that i already have a full 3" decat turbo back system,decat uppipe an green panel filter!

The easiest is just a set of pinks and a remap, should break the 300 barrier, but with a sti topmount about 330 is possible.

 

newage wrx's have 380cc injectors as standard. the 2.5 wrx's have 500cc and the sti's have 550cc

 

 

wil the 420's cope then or just get some pinks?

 

Tbh it will cope but they will be maxed out,

my 440s are maxed out and im running a TD05 im going go get my 440s made to 740s cheaper and better then 550s

I put a front entry 16g td05 with 550's, 255 fp, pfr7's, hks panel filter, full 3"de-cat, 3port bs, sti8 intercooler, ecutex by JGM and made 331/329
