Piston Ring gap, Rings used, piston to bore clearence? Tip if oil is excesive Check the spark plug thread and tips next time before starting from cold to see if they are oily, and more importantly if so even or un even. Also check after the car has run, but not warmed enough for the smoke to clear. This may help you single out the issue to one or all the cylinders.
FWIW some forged builds just seem to burn more oil, others only on start up, and others none at all. However execess smoke on start up would suggest ring seal if everything else is in check it may just be a case of bedding in depending on whats miles you have coverd so far.

If its white, as said. Will just be normal untill engine is warmed up. As if it was ur HG this would not go away.
Blue smoke will mean oil is getting into the cylnder usealy means rings.
After the smoke stops, give it some revs and see what comes out that rear.
