legacy turbo questions?????
#1
Thinking of buying a 1994 legacy turbo. Is 150k a lot of mileage for a 1994 legacy turbo and is there any problems which could occur with this mileage. And what would be the best after market exhaust to fit?

Not really, both of mine have done over 170,000km with no problems, just make sure the cam belt has been replaced, although they don't do any valve damage if the belt break it would just be an inconvenience should it break.

Mine has 135k. A few things I would check are,,
1. The things you always check on a high milage car!! Exhaust smoke colour, oil tyres, brakes etc
2. How much tappet noise???? they can make a bit.. Mine does. Its nothing major.
3. Turbo!!!
4. The more genuine subaru parts on it he better.
5. Find someone who has one and let them give you their opinion!!
6. Look at loads... Best way of learning about "Lemons" and "Gooduns"!!
