Does anybody know what sort of chip this is where it came from my car is a my94 import classic Impreza wrx

any help would be great as i'm selling it and would great to give the new owner a bit of background on it i.e it can or can't be mapped

its a jap chip designed for use in japan where they have the fuel to support it. unless you want to kill your engine take the ecu out and replace with a standard one.
it has no value here in the uk as its probably mapped for 100+ ron fuel.
if you know what you are doing you could reconnect the j1 resistor and it will run the standrd 2c map again and be safe to use.
