Question vf30 or vf35 what is the better?????

all of the above!

i know all the stats and where they come from just wanted peoples experience with either.

im running vf35 and its great.

i have been offered either for the same price, so just wondering where my money would be better going?

I'd go with the VF35. Works very well on my classic, 340 bhp capable turbo and about the best spool you can get next to the TD04.

i noticed on that link it claims the vf35 if off the newage type ra, when in fact its the standard turbo on the sti.

Yeah, also says available in limited numbers when, in point of fact, it's as common as muck!

lol, i think that origionated on nasioc and has done the rounds of forums, lots of the stuff on there is inacurate to say the least.

vf35 came on sti blob eyes not limited to numbers so its not and its better than vf30 quicker spool up smaller exhaust housing less lag capable of 350bhp with equal torque if not near 400 torque with supporting mods on the 2.5 engine

If secondhand I would probably buy the one that you think is likely to be in better nick, as you'll probably struggle to tell the difference on the car.
The spec would suggest less lag and therefore slightly quicker response from the 35, as against a bit more top end shove with the 30.
I don't have any personal experience of the 35, but I am running a 30 on a tweaked MY00 classic and I can say it pulls nicely to the 7000rpm redline through the gears. It works for me because if I'm pushing on the extra lag over the 35 is irrelevant anyway and I'd rather have the top end go (in theory).
