APS 525 or 725? Or Perrin?

APS 525 or 725? Or Perrin?
This has been asked before, with various opinions offered...but I'll ask again anyway
My new build is good for 500/500 and it's time to plan for an FMIC. (Had wondered about sticking with the '05 STi TMIC, but I know I'll be disappointed if I can't get the best bhp possible out of the engine )
A Perrin or APS DR525 are around the price I was hoping to pay - any opinions between the two?
Or is the APS DR725 really worth the extra £400?

I've had a price from a US supplier at $1145 which is the best I can find, but looking at >$300 to have it shipped over and then there's likely to be VAT and duty...so not looking to be good value really.
Flat4online have it for £1152 delivered, so may well get it from there...I don't need it in a hurry

Hyperflow Monster . Cheaper than the APS and IMO just as good if not better (I have one on mine, see my project build for some pics). I believe Zen, Clinic, TSL, RCM ..... all sell the Hyperflow, shop around for the best price you can get. The Monster core is a lot bigger than the 525 as well, not sure how much bigger it is over the 725 (if any). Perrin is simular to Hybrid but doesn't have any supporting brackets for pipework etc. Hybrid does the same job and is a lot cheaper (I didin't like the fit on my Hybrid tho, it isn't as good as the APS/Hyperflow i/c's, IMO).

guys any more thoughts on this as i am in the saem boat, either to fit a aps, hyperflow or hybrid.
other than the fit if the hybrid, if they perform as good why spend the etc money on the aps or hyperflow?

Hybrid FMICs are very good quality and great value for money. Well under £400 and includes a matching cold air kit:

are proven and they do the job. However I wasn't happy with the fit of the hybrid and the
undercar pipe route so changed to a more expensive hyperflow after talking to a few tuners.
The fit of the hyperflow is far better, IMO. There is nothing wrong with the fit and quality of
the hybrid its just the hyperflow is better. Its up to you if you want to spent the extra £600.
I guess it depends on your standard, do you want a factory fit or aftermarket fit. All my opinion
but I have owned both. Having said the above I will be buying another hybrid for my track car
as they are cheaper and I'm not looking for a 'show car' finish/fit.

FYI - I bought my DR725 from the US via this forum/thread. The supplier was great to deal with, and we worked out a way of getting it shipped to me and keeping the costs down - came in at about £1100 by the time I'd paid VAT, duty etc. It meant I could get a DR725 for the price of a 525 bought in the UK

so other than the fit of the hybrid it is on par with the others?
and out of the APS and hyperflow which would be regarded as better?
dave for what reasons were you swayed to the hyperflow over the aps? and i assume you still need to cut the front bumper to fit either of these or did the bumper need to be left alone?
can you comment on results as you have fitted both the hybrid and hyperflow? did you see less lag or lower charge temps from the hyperflow?
thanks for your input guys.

£1100 for a hyperflow. I'm guessing the difference in performance would be impossible to measure
On a rolling road. All require cutting of the front bumper.
