Default Need a turbo 'to get me by'

Right guys car needs to come out and be running sometime soon and i need a bigger turbo then my td04 to produce over 300bhp so i can get used to a 'faster' impreza with decent handling

plan is to go forged later this year, with a NEW engine, big blower and over 400bhp. so just need a decent ish turbo to get me by in that time, something capable of 300bhp atleast, 350bhp ish tops?

Must have decent spool but not cost the earth!

Apexi Power Intake
Hybrid GT FMIC (running reverse scoop too)
Inlet spaced from block, Header tank space from inlet
Zerosports cool stat
GT spec ceramic coated tubular headers + up-pipe.
3' Turbo back system
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Scoobymania 740cc Injectors
Parallel fuel rail set up, fuel labs 515 reg
Lightweight Pullies,
Lightweight flywheel
Apexi AVCR Boost Controller
management - undecided, probably try pickup a PFC cheap for now

what do you think?

Andrew Carr just mapped a club members classic on a VF35, and it made around 320 bhp. Mine car managed 340.

Good choice, IMHO

16g. You may find you don't need/want to go any further after that

Expect 1.5 bar by about 3400-3500RPM with your headers. Same setup as mine, although mine is TMIC so yours may be a slightly later.

Makes a stormer of a road car.

It's quick and responsive even at 1bar.
