If 350 is your target you'd be better off with a newage STi top mount IC than a front mount. All the cooling effectiveness you need but far easier to install and the shorter induction tract is better for throttle response. Cheaper too.

As has already been said, your "other mods" would include a turbo, fuel pump and probably injectors, along with a tidy panel filter and then the remap. If you're still on a standard-ish clutch and gearbox expect these to begin to struggle too, especially if you enjoy launching it.

Don't forget the braking and suspension aspects too!

oh and i got a hks panel filter already but thinking about putting the hks racing suction kit back on as it did make a difference in throttle response

I'd be surprised if the TD04 gets you to 350bhp, the TD05 would struggle!
Also, gearboxes are hit and miss, some pop, some don't, depends how lucky you are!
I would say you were maxing out the 440's(yellows) too, 550's would be ideal.

for 350 i would say get a vf35 straight bolt on no worrys about fitment, full decat turbo back with up pipe and headers, large tmic or fmic, 550cc sti injectors, air intake, walbro fuel pump, heat wrap headers, up pipe and downpipe, and a ecutek remap should maybe max out to 350 if not go for somthin like 18g somthin simple but if its 350 max then a vf35 will be ideal or the vf34 but vf35 has quicker spool up time

As has been said that turbo will struggle to get the power figure you're talking about. It's more the 310-320 or so area, although to be honest it's such a responsive and flexible unit that it results in a more driveable, enjoyable, faster car than something laggier but ultimately more capable.

im pretty sure the yellow injectors will cope with 350 unless im wrong anybody ,
The yellow 440's will cope with the real-world capability of the turbo you're thinking of (i.e up to around 320), but if you change your plans and get something capable of satisfying your notional 350bhp target, you are into the area where the IDCs at high loads start to get higher than ideal. You can mitigate that by raising the fuel pressure so before starting to buy stuff, have a word with Andy or your chosen mapper and make a decision on what is likely to be the best option.

and i already have an my05 wrx 5 speed box fitted which im told is capable of about 450 bhp
Who told you that? The newer boxes don't sh*t themselves in quite the same way as the GC8 five speeders, but expecting one to put up with that sort of power level (especially with similar amounts of torque) for extended periods of time is asking a bit much.

If somewhere around there is what you want I've already given arguably the most effective (and cost-effective) way of achieving it. Andy's turbo, newage STi TMIC (and matching dumpvalve), fuel pump, map to suit.

pps what is the best turbo for that horsepower?
For 310-320? The TD04 hybrid you've already identified is excellent. If you want to go cheaper there are plenty of secondhand VF28-29-30's around, but you lose the assurance of an effectively new turbo, and the throttle response probably won't be as good. If it's 350 you want, there are a number of ways to skin that cat, dependent on budget.

Easiest answer to that is to get rid of the induction kit and go back to the standard airbox with a good panel in it. If you want to get rid of the MAF then you're into programmable ECU territory, which is a lot more bucks. The induction kit isn't gaining you anything worthwhile at this power level, standard induction tract gets you an easier life, and aside from a bit of noise maybe, loses you nothing.
