JUST FITTED A VF35 AN DROVE IT DOWN TO MY MAPPER OFF BOOST ALL THE WAY! AFTER A QUITE A FEW HEAVY RUNS MAPPING IT WHEN I CAME TO A STOP AN JUST ON TICK OVER THERE WAS QUITE A BIT OF SMOKE COMING FROM THE EXHAUST, AS FAR AS I COULD TELL THE SMOKE WAS WHITE.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PROB COULD BE?
I WAS THINKING MAYBE WATER SEALS ON TURBO BUT I REALLY DONT KNOW!
ALL HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED
is the turbo not water and oil cooled? could be using water from the turbo, just a though with you fitting a new turbo and this problem happening, not sure if it would put the water through the exhaust though
Is the turbo being flooded with oil ? Was the VF35 supply ed with the correct oil Banjo bolts - IIRC the VF series use a small drilling on the banjo bolts to restrict the oil supply whereas the TD series have a larger oil supply on the banjo's.
