2L head mod for fitting to 2.5 block
as title realy, does anyone know what is done exactly ? am i right in thinking the edge of the combustion chamber is just feathered out to avoid the sharp edge or is it more involved than this ?
also can anyone advise me on what head gasket thinkness to use for a standard 2.5 block with sti3 heads ?
any advice much appreciated.

Might depend on the boost and power you're after. The combustion chambers on a standard 2.0l head will be inside the bore, and there is a risk that the edges of them become potential hotspots, causing det. Therefore the mapper may have to back off the advance a little to make sure that doesn't happen.
In my case, the build is good for 500bhp and I'm not taking any chances
