Well you dont want it to run at 8,000,000rpm to start with (thats the 8500k you put there ) and anyway, 8k (redline 8.2k) are on STI engines with uprated internals, no other point to it unless you want to spend a few k on gaining 1k rpm?
Stick with the 7k rpm red line on your UK car

What power are you going for??!
One would have to ask why you'd want to rev that high. Even the STI's are dropping in power before the 8k redline. The standard cams certainly wouldn't suit and all the 1500rpm extra would be doing is loosing engine reliability.
Can't you just up the boost for more power? Big cams and tuning tricks for NA engines don't really apply to turbo cars. All you end up with is something that won't idle, and is horrible to drive.

I think you;ll also find that the standard oil pump will not be man enough to keep up the pressure, therefore a replacement uprated version should be on the cards.
Also what turbo are you running or considering on running as this will tell us just what rpm you need to make the most of the turbo.
