Default classic rear drive shaft

hi,think i need to change my o/s/r driveshaft as i have a clicking/clunking when the car is moved forwards and backwards slowly,think its the outer joint,do the shafts just pop out of the diff with a lever bar,got some castrol syntrax 75/90 to put back in the diff afterwards,

yeah they do. mine were quite stuck in but nothin to bad

I would check that the drive shaft is at fault. There should be a little play in the rear diff that is known to clunk. Also check the hand brake drums, as I have seen a car with sticking drums knocking.
