The MAF is from a Nissan (think it's fitted to some Skylines, ZXs, etc.) -- it's typically referred to as a Z32 MAF . It's a straight swap for the MY93-96 v.1/2 green lable MAF (same dimensions, etc.) The plug's pins need to be rewired though, so prob best to splice in the Z32's plug into the existing loom so you have both plugs available for quick swaps, should you sell the car/go back to std, etc.

If you search "z32" there's a helpful thread explaining how to wire up the Z32 plug to the exisitng loom.

Not a good idea to fit the A'PEXi Mafsim (discontiued) as, if it fails, you're left stranded by the side of the road. At least with a MAF, even if it fails, you won't be left stranded (unless it fails badly) and you'll be okay to drive off boost to get home. Plus the Z32 MAF offers enough CFM for 450bhp.

Air flow mass meter NISSAN 22680-30P00 300ZX Z32 1989- on eBay (end time 01-Jul-09 02:00:00 BST)

I, myself, will be getting this one. Chap claims it's new and has a 12 month warranty!

For £80 it's giotta be worth a punt, as I checked second hand ones for sale on here by members and they want similar money... and sometimes their ones had defects, like holes in the gauze, etc.!

The larger MAF's are good for around 450 ish bhp, beyond that you would need a 'mafsim' if you want to keep the Power FC. Not sure if they are still available as they were made by a private individual who supplied a couple of mappers.

Do a search under mafsim on here that may help you.

Any chance of letting me know what you'd want for it, if the OP declines it?

The std early green label one is good for up to 350bhp.

Don't know what v.3/4's and v.5/6's do.

You'll need this adaptor (assuming the A'PEXi filter has the usual connecting flange for a large jubilee clip to clamp it around the adaptor 'ring'):-
