turbo pipes ?
hi there
am new to this so please bear with me.
I have recently bought a acropolis wrx sti v1 40/100 and am in the middle of doing a few mods in it but have hit a snag.
hopefully can get some help?
basically i am putting on a fmic / exhaust /fuel pump / upgrading oil pump / and turbo upgrade.
the problem i have hit is that i bought a new turbo tdo5 hot side with tdo6 cold side 20g and where the water pipes join the turbo from the car it is a slightly different layout. Where as the standard tdo5 has the 2 water pipes on the same side one above the other, the new turbo has the bottom 1 plugged with an alan key bolt, and the other available fixing is on the opposite side at the top. basically was just wondering whether it has to be the same layout as the standad tdo5 (by removing the alan key plug ) or do i use this hole and just modify the piping? I dont know if the allen key plug are bleeding holes for oil and water as i have 1 on each side?
any help would be much appreciated thanks james
