Default piston slap on forged build

hi all,
i have a classic cdb with forged pistons and rods but it has piston slap, is this normal and if it is will it damage the cylinders to the point of a rebore?

piston slap is normal for a forged rebuild so long as it goes when warm.
many impreza have pistonslap with the normal oe pistons anyway.

good good, yes it goes away after about 15/20 seconds, would it damage the cylinders to the point of a rebore though? cheers phil.

Your unliikely to see any damage, maybe some damage to the ears. But in general its ok.
