right iv got an engine with no starter so firstly the starter motor tricks out the question
how do i remove the crank pulley, in the easiest way?
Last night we had a ratchet on it, handbrake on, pulling it to the drivers side of the car (lefty lucy) and it wouldnt budge, were we going the right way?

Gearbox still on?
Put it in 5th gear and stand on brakes. 2ft breaker bar and lever to the left.
I have had some VERY stubborn ones over the years, but the above usually works. On one occasion i need an extension to the 2ft breaker bar it was that tight. A simple 1/2" ratchet wont give you anywhere near enough leverage.
