Buy the RCM 14mm stud kit and get your friend to machine the block to suit the thread size of the studs.
The heads, dowels and head gaskets also need to be reamed to take the O/S stud kit.

There is no cheap way to do it, if your engine needs 14mm studs, you have bigger things to worry about besides paying for the conversion.

If you think you need 14mm studs, then presumably you're looking at 600hp or there abouts, in which case everything in and on the engine is something to worry about!

Find someone you trust to sort the lot out, and can supply you with the engine fully assembled for you to fit. The absolute worst thing you can do, is to get bits and pieces from lots of different suppliers, who will all have their own way of doing things, and recommend slightly different things. If you cherry pick pistons from one place, rods from another, gaskets/studs from somewhere else and just hope that it will all work in harmony when you finally assemble it, you're going to have problems unless you know exactly what your doing, in which case you wouldn't be asking for advice in the first place.
